Congratulations to Amanda Milliken for her induction into the American Border Collie Association’s hall of fame. Amanda has had an incredible influence on the Border Collie in North America, winning trials like Soldier Hollow and Meeker multiple times. She was also the USBCHA National Champion in 2005. Her greatest contribution has to be the creation of the Canadian Border Collie Association which saved the breed in Canada from being controlled by conformation and sport dog breeders as there can only be one official breed club for every purebred in Canada. Her dedication to the preservation of the breed as a working sheep dog has earned her this high honour!
