Hall of Fame Nomination Process

General Information:
The Canadian Border Collie Association (the "CBCA") invites nominations to the CBCA Hall of Fame. Nominations should be directed to the Registrar of the CBCA at registrar@canadianbordercollies.org, outlining in detail the contributions of the proposed inductee, and should be based on the following criteria:

Criteria for Dogs:

  1. A proposed inductee should be the winner of multiple prestigious Open and Double Lift finals, both here or abroad, and whether on cattle or sheep;

  1. It should have produced offspring with a comparable record of outstanding achievement; or

  2. It has made a significant impact on the border collie breed in some other way.

Criteria for Individuals

  1. A proposed inductee is one who has made a significant contribution to the border collie breed and the sport over a lengthy period, whether as a breeder, CBCA board member or officer, trial host, judge, owner or handler.
