We are pleased to announce that the 2025 CBCA Championships will be held at
Grass Creek Park in Kingston Ontario
the week of August 4th, 2025. Thank you Amanda Milliken!
Congratulations Curtis and Grace!
The CBCA is pleased to have been able to support the Canadian Cattle Dog Associations annual Championship with a prize buckle and $500 cash for the winner. Shown is CCDA vice president Peter Gonnet presenting the winner Curtis Knox with the buckle, while winning dog Grace looks on.
Welcome to the team Tracy Hinton
Unfortunately Amanda Milliken has had to withdraw from the Canadian team due to health issues with her dogs. Tracy Hinton, alternate, will take her place. Amanda will be missed, but we still have a good team!
Team members now are Scott Glen (two places), George Stambulic, Kevan Gretton and Tracy Hinton.
The CBCA would like to thank Bob Stephens for his many years of service to the organization as a board member and President. In addition to volunteering for the CBCA, Bob has supported the sport of dog trialling and the working Border Collie as a competitor, breeder, judge, and sponsor. You would be hard pressed to find someone more passionate about the breed than Bob. It is safe to say that most members of the CBCA have benefited directly, or indirectly because of his hard work and dedication.
We would also like to welcome Alanna Leach to the board - thank you for volunteering!
Lisa Wright
CBCA President
